I am a queer, neurodivergent, non-binary trans femme writer and (amateur) photographer based in Halifax, NS, where I’ve lived since October 2012.  I operate two blogs on this site: Nine Snowboots is for all my personal writing, while Existentialist Weightlifting started as a place for my arts and culture writing, but is pretty much all SNL reviews at this point. Guess which gets me most of my traffic. I also have a newsletter, Bald Alien Babe.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Mount Allison University in Sackville NB, and have written pieces for The Argosy, the Miramichi Leader, and Splitsider.  I also have experience writing press releases, newsletters and social media content.
