Election

I’m watching the midterm election coverage right now; the results aren’t as good as I had hoped. Even with the House flipping, I’m worried what tonight is going to mean for the future of the United States, Canada, and the rest of the world. There’s still at least a check on the Executive Branch, though, and some deserving candidates got in. Some terrible candidates got in too. I don’t know. I’ve just been tired from the last two years. The world has become a scarier, crueler place. So much that was unthinkable a few years ago is now acceptable enough to win elections.

Today was grey and rainy again. I’ve been feeling a little heaviness building up; I’m not sure what it is. I’m struggling with what to say here. This is just a marking time post. I’m probably not going to publicize it.
